JOB SUMMARY

 

The Logistics Associate Manager will be responsible for the correct inbound, storage and distribution of BIC products. Working closely with the Third-Party Logistics Supplier, he will ensure the correct reception of the stock, the stock integrity and accuracy across the different systems, the compliance to BIC’s storage condition requirements and the distribution of the goods towards our customers. He will as well be responsible for the reverse logistics and correct treatment of all stock returns as well as follow up of non-conformity product treatment and tracking of co-packing activities. He will also be responsible for the determination of components needs and the execution of the co packing plans.

The Logistics Associate Manager will be responsible for the imports activities and ensuring that importation from the various sources comes at an optimal cost.

 

 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS

 

 

  • Ensure that all necessary documentation is sent to customs agent to clear inbound shipments.
  • Ensure correct integration of inbound stock into the system; analyze inbound discrepancies if necessary and follow up until resolution.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts; analyze stock discrepancies between physical and system stock. Guarantee stock accuracy in the system.
  • Organize and lead monthly wall to wall inventory.
  • Ensure that all storage conditions comply with BIC internal storage condition requirements.
  • Control warehousing and distribution costs through monthly invoices and ensure alignment with established budget.
  • Logistics cost tracking on monthly basis.
  • Follow up on returns from customers with Customer Service team. Analyze the reasons for the returns and propose corrective actions.
  • Ensure correct treatment for all returns: stock integration or other, according to stock condition. Load credit notes according to received returns.
  • Measure warehousing and distribution KPI and take action to achieve proposed objectives.
  • Liaise and negotiate with local 3PL to provide the best possible service level at the best cost. Be the link between BIC and the logistic supplier
  • Ensure System integration monitoring.
  • Follow up of co-packing activities and make sure that the production plan is  followed accurately.
  • Share daily output on the co-packing activities.
  • Make appropriate reports to give good stock overview to the management.
  • Own the Logistics Dashboard.
