As HR Business Partner - Manufacturing, you will work closely with the HR, Operations & Payroll team, to ensure smooth HR operations, confidentiality and punctuality regarding all HR processes and policies. This position plays a key role in providing both operational and strategic human resources support to develop and coordinate programs which directly support the achievement of business objectives. This position supports the site managers in managing the day-to-day Human Resources functions including recruiting and selection, performance management, talent development, employee relations, total rewards, onboarding, policy implementation, employee engagement, communication activities, and employment law compliance.

 

What you'll do:

 

HR Services

 

  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems
  • Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals
  • Recommend innovative approaches, policies and procedures to affect continual improvements in efficiency to the department and service performed
  • Assist in preparation and review of Annual HC Planning and Annual Budget
  • Support annual HR processes (merit cycle, talent reviews, calibration).
  • Implement global HR initiatives and ensure local activities are aligned to the global HR strategy
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, People & Culture, and HR Operations
  • Ensure compliance with BIC requirements
  • Follow up of the EHS group guideline

 

Recruitment

 

  • Collaborates closely with the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence and the Manufacturing Recruiter to ensure timely and effective staffing of all manufacturing positions.
  • Acts as the strategic liaison between Manufacturing and the TA teams, ensuring full alignment between workforce planning needs and recruitment priorities.
  • Opens and manages requisitions in SuccessFactors (SF), ensuring accuracy of job information, approval flows, and coordination with TA teams for a smooth hiring process.
  • Supports the development of talent pipelines for critical and hard‑to‑fill manufacturing roles, providing insights on market trends, skill gaps, and talent availability.
  • Ensures effective communication and collaboration across functions to optimize sourcing strategies, interview panels, and hiring decisions.
  • Monitors progress of active searches, proactively escalating risks or delays, and driving actions to meet business deadlines and staffing goals.

 

Performance Management / Talent Development

 

  • Drive the Talent and Performance Management processes, talent identification and succession plans management, and elaboration of individual development plans
  • Manage the annual objective process and support the Business Performance Management System (SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Work closely with Managers to assess training and organization development needs
  • Detect and analyze the training needs for each area aligned with the priorities and business strategy and create the training schedule
  • Coordinate all practicalities with training providers
  • Administer and provide customer support of BIC’s Learning Management Software and Performance Management tool (SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Responsible for Engagement Surveys implementation  

 

Employee Relations / Engagement

 

  • Support all aspects of labor and employee relations including investigations; grievances; counseling to management; conflict mediation and resolution; disciplinary procedures etc.
  • Responsible for remaining up to date on relevant employment laws and other human resources compliance issues
  • Communicate engagement results, develop and execute the functional engagement action plans
  • Partner with Group HR and Corporate Communications on company event planning, execution and feedback for BIC
  • Participate actively in Corporate Social Responsibility Actions (Global & Local)
  • Responsible for the creation and distribution of internal announcements through the company’s corporate communication platform
  • Represent HR team in various hearings

 

Reporting

 

  • Maintain human resource information systems records ensuring data accuracy and compiles reports from the database
  • Handle HR Reporting and Dashboard (i.e. SF, Power BI)
  • Prepare, deliver and analyze HR and operational data (turnover, absenteeism, training hours, productivity trends) to identify people-related risks and opportunities.

 

 

Site-Level HR Responsibilities

 

  • Coordinate and deliver site-wide events (e.g., town halls, recognition events, health & wellness activities, CSR initiatives).
  • Manage site communication, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with corporate messages.
  • Act as the site policy owner: implement HR policies, communicate updates, ensure compliance, and provide training when needed.
  • Serve as a central HR point of contact for ad hoc requests, queries, and employee needs.Knowledge & skills 

 

What you'll bring to BIC:

 

  • B.Sc. Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, or related discipline. M.Sc. in relevant field will be considered as a plus
  • At least 3 years of working experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Previous HR experience in a Plant is a mandatory requirement
  • Proven experience with tools and technology including an Applicant Tracking System, Local Job Boards, Human Capital Management System (preferably SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Excellent command of English language (both written and verbal)
  • Advanced PC literacy (especially MS Office)
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and labor relationsCompetencies
  • Business acumen with understanding of manufacturing operations
