Job Purpose
As Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will have full responsibility for the mechanical reliability and performance of all production machines and equipment in the Blade Factory. This includes leading the maintenance team, developing and executing maintenance plans, managing spare parts procurement and repairs, and overseeing the mechanical construction of new machines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute the annual maintenance planning and secure the necessary materials-spare parts, equipment and the team members to cover the maintenance and construction needs based on the annual budget, and adjusting it accordingly.
- Supervise and assure the timely implementation of preventive maintenance and the cost optimization, through the reduction of down time of the production equipment.
- Supervising the people performance evaluation, annual salaries' cycle, recruitment, promotions, employee relations and ensure the compliance of the team with the health and safety rules of the company.
- Outsource duties, which cannot be executed internally, to third parties and supervise the correct and economical functionality of these duties.
- Cooperate with other departments to secure the continuous and effective operation of the production, the proper and in-time completion of constructions and the planning of Research and Development.
- Collaborate with other supervisors on aim to propose & implement the optimum engineering solutions on any problem or expansion demand.
- Participate in international projects in cooperation with other factories.
- Prepare reports, analyze data, create metrics and make recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance & construction related problems.
- Supervise the support of experiments concerning R&D projects, Industrialization and improvement projects.
- Supervise the development of maintenance instructions/manuals.
What you'll bring to BIC:
- B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of working experience in a similar position, preferably in industrial field
- Familiar with 3D CAD engineering design and design packages (AutoCAD, or Creo)
- Knowledge of Hydraulic-Pneumatic automation and/or Machine Shop constructions/assemblies
- New machines & mechanism installations experience
- Fluent in Greek, excellent command of English language (both written and verbal)
- Advanced PC literacy (especially MS Office)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sufficient soft skills like develop and lead teams, communication (with internal or external clients), time management (meet deadlines), fast diagnostic and solving skills, results orientation
