Skincare Product Engineer

As Skincare Products Engineer, based in Athens, you will operate within the field of cosmetic product development and analysis. The role supports the formulation and testing of skincare products across both local and global development projects as well as the  maintenance and organization of the skincare lab.

As Skincare Products Engineer, you will be an integral member of the product development team, contributing to projects within the CoreTech Skincare Technology framework. This position plays a critical role in the creation of new cosmetic products as well as in ensuring the robustness, consistency, and compliance of existing formulations.

What you'll do:

• Prepare laboratory- and pilot-scale batches according to defined cosmetic formulations.
• Produce samples required for internal and external testing, including stability and compatibility studies, to ensure product safety, quality, and performance.
• Conduct analytical evaluations of samples at defined time points and under specified climatic conditions.
• Collect, analyze, document and interpret test data, and prepare clear and structured reports to support technical and business decision-making.
• Coordinate with external laboratories and internal stakeholders to manage sample submissions for analyses not performed in-house.
• Manage the ordering of raw materials for laboratory, pilot, and industrial batches by liaising with external suppliers and manufacturers.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to raw materials orders, including offers and invoices.
• Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, operational readiness and appropriate documents for all laboratory equipment used in cosmetic formulation development.
• Oversee the organization and functionality of the skincare laboratory, including the ordering, storage, and upkeep of consumables and supplies.
• Monitor and update records of raw material stock levels within the skincare laboratory.
• Keep all documentation provided for raw materials within the skincare raw materials records.
• Assist in the development of new methodologies for the evaluation of cosmetic formulas and the compilation of the final SOP.

What you'll bring to BIC:

• Technical Degree / Chemistry Degree / Cosmetic Science Degree / Pharmaceutical Degree / Biology Degree
• 3-5 years professional experience in development laboratories
• MS Office skills (Word, Power Point, Excel)
• Basic Data analytics & Reporting skills
• Communication skills
• English language – advanced knowledge
• Problem-solving skills
• Agility
• Able to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Collaborative team player, open to feedback, and contributing positively to team goals
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and maintaining a clean, orderly workspace
