Warehouse Supervisor

The position of Warehouse Supervisor is part of BIC Global Supply Chain, and it is in Athens, Greece.

This role is responsible for managing warehouse operations, in line with Bic standard procedures and Key Performance Indicators objectives, in collaboration with outsourced service providers(carriers) within the scope of Greek distribution and export to Cyprus. 

In this role you will:

• Lead all warehouse operations, maintenance & improvements.
• With strong knowledge of WMS operations & O365.
• Manage & coordinate a team of 8 people (+2 temporary in high season).
• Be key contact for all warehouse operations to all stakeholders: Demand Planning, OTC, Accounting and commercial team.
• Secure all BIC safety regulations are properly respected.
• Accountable for on-time stock integration and order preparation.
• Manage a team of 8 as a core team and 2 or more temporary workers in high season needs.
• Responsible for reporting and monitoring warehouse performance, claims and respecting all department targets.
• Lead Continuous Improvement in warehouse operations targeting productivity and OTIF improvement.
• Ensure high stock accuracy levels and close follow-up of any product shortages after order preparation.
• Ensure on-time stock integration of all inbound operations and close follow-up of any shortages. Raising claims in case of stock discrepancies.
• Supervise inventory levels between JDE & WMS and launch any investigation if any differences arise.
• Anticipate organize and prepare team & operations for Greece main Seasonality – BTS & Pantyhose
• Ensure tidiness in the warehouse and maintain all infrastructure, forklifts and equipment.
• Optimize picking paths, evaluate and improve picking process and order preparation.
• Ensure all health & safety instructions and organization directions are respected during operation.
• Ensure ADR procedures are properly respected.
• Organize and participate in mid-year and end-year stock takes.
• Keep regular communication of all team members under responsibility.
• Evaluate team members and proceed with continuous training regarding quality, quantity and health & safety instructions.

What you'll bring to BIC:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience and knowledge with WH operations
• Team management experience (10+ people), able to create team dynamics
• Communication skills and ability to collaborate with other departments
• Time management and prioritization capabilities
• English – Advanced level
• Project management experience is preferred
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Office 365, Excel, Power BI, WMS system experience is preferred
