As a Stationery Product Manager, you will execute trade marketing programs, managing category economics, and supplying the market intelligence that informs decisions. implements trade marketing strategy of the region, across the assigned territory. The role reports to Trade Marketing Manager Romania and Export Markets.

 

What you'll do:

 

1. Execute trade marketing programs that build demand at the point of sale and beyond

  • Run BTL activities in-store (Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, Stationers, Office Suppliers) to engage trade and consumers
  • Support ATL activities (TV, Digital, OOH) to engage consumers outside stores
  • Develop trade marketing tools (POSMs, catalogues, toolkits)
  • Build and evaluate yearly promo plans by channel, including promotional proposals, implementation packages, sell-in/sell-out follow-up, and effectiveness analysis
  • Ensure digital content is correctly implemented under the SPARC framework

2. Contribute to managing category economics — assortment, pricing, and profitability

  • Proposs product assortment and supports building price lists per country, within the country strategy set by the Trade Marketing Manager.
  • Defend category profitability and ensures rigorous financial measurement of post-activity impact
  • Implement and monitor the brand support and POSM budgets

3. Supply the market intelligence and support that shape category decisions

  • Conduct competitive analysis and field visits to track real market conditions
  • Collectsongoing data from Sales on product, competition, promotions, sell-out, and shelf presence
  • Track and share campaign effectiveness and best practices across countries
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and new product launches
  • Support engagement with Teachers to position BIC in children's development
  • Train Sales teams, new employees, and distributor teams on category knowledge

 

Key Performance Indicators / Key Figures

 

  • Target achievement (Value Sales, Volume Sales, Profitability)
  • Market share and its evolution
  • Ontime & excellence in implementation of in-store campaigns and yearly promo plan
  • Excellence in POSM implementation in the market
  • Marketing processes deliverables available as per agreed deadlines (assortment, pricing, promo plans, campaign management)

 

What you'll bring to BIC:

 

  • Higher education, university degree
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in trade marketing, brand marketing or category management
  • Prior experience building promo plans and running profitability/effectiveness analysis is a plus
  • Experience working across multiple countries/markets simultaneously is a plus
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills (P&L, pricing, promo ROI, simulations)
  • Familiarity with sell-in/sell-out data analysis and market research interpretation
  • Budget management experience (brand support, POSM budgets)
  • Understanding of ATL/BTL marketing mechanics
  • Fluent English
