As the Senior Manager, Warehousing & Distribution, you will lead multi-site operations and teams across North America to deliver excellence in safety, quality, service, and cost. You will ensure the integrity of the supply chain through proactive planning, efficient resource management, and precise financial oversight. A strong focus on innovation, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction will be critical to success.

This role requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on operational management, with direct responsibility for regional distribution centers in Arlington, TX and Charlotte, NC. You will foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and accountability while achieving or exceeding financial, operational, and customer goals.


What You’ll Do: 

  • Create a positive team culture that encourages feedback, adaptability, and a strong focus on customer experience
  • Lead multi-site inventory and staff management across North America
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure associates and supervisors are highly capable and aligned with business objectives
  • Lead a distribution management team (~3 direct reports) and workforce (~200 indirect reports) to deliver excellence in safety, quality, cost, and delivery
  • Conduct performance reviews, succession planning, and talent development to align with BIC’s people strategies
  • Develop and execute succession and people development plans to build a strong talent pipeline
  • Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive efficiency, optimize workflow, and improve productivity (units per hour)
  • Deliver weekly labor management analyses to optimize profitability and customer service
  • Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives
  • Support implementation of automation projects, including $8M Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) initiatives
  • Manage import/export activities across North America
  • Oversee on-time shipping, inventory accuracy, and audit compliance to ensure OTIF and customer requirements are met
  • Maintain cycle count metrics to deliver high levels of inventory accuracy
  • Manage over/short/damage claims and implement improvements in shipping processes to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Provide $20M P&L oversight, including development and achievement of budgetary goals
  • Provide indirect oversight of ~$150M monthly inventory
  • Develop and implement cost-reduction and operational efficiency strategies
  • Partner cross-functionally with Quality, HR, Safety, Corporate, Maintenance, and external agencies to deliver operational success
  • Ensure daily shipment goals and warehouse KPIs are achieved
  • Lead a culture of safety, partnering with Safety Managers to proactively reduce incidents and ensure compliance with all regulations and policies
  • Maintain a strong and regular presence on the warehouse floor
  • Support acquisition integration, including operational alignment and distribution transition for Tangle Teezer, ensuring seamless onboarding into existing warehousing and distribution processes

 

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)
  • 10-12 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, supply chain, or distribution leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing, collaborative teams
  • Proven experience managing multi-site operations and large-scale budgets
  • 8-10 years of experience in people leadership, including hiring, training, and employee relations for both hourly and salaried staff
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with proven P&L accountability
  • Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills in fast-paced, complex environments
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels
  • Advanced MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with WMS, ERP systems, and logistics automation (RF systems, conveyors, ASRS, high-speed sortation)
  • Knowledge of Hazardous Material handling (preferred)
  • Metrics-driven mindset and continuous improvement orientation
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (domestic and international)
