Job Responsbilities:
- Lead and supervise mechanical team and daily maintenance tasks and project assignments.
- Implement creative solutions to reduce the cost of materials, components, and labor.
- Ability to modify and fabricate parts.
- Create and update technical documents.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation in accordance with industry and company standards.
- Promote safe behavior within the maintenance department.
- Effectively manage the training and development of skills, knowledge and abilities within the technical group of the maintenance department.
- Assist with evaluating project or process requests for maintenance and facility matters.
- Interact with various internal and external customers to refer/resolve problems associated with assigned work activities.
- Create reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff
- Perform administrative and record keeping functions but not limited to keys, equipment, and supplies.
- Collect and compile data; evaluate project or process requests; develop ad-hoc queries as requested by production team or management.
Qualifications:
- Technical degreed preferred or related field / experience (mininum HS Dipolma)
- Proficiency in CAD, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD
- Experience in creating 2D and 3D models.
- +5 years of related experience
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical principles
- Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with upper management and team members.
- Strong project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with a wide range of professionals.
