Job Responsbilities:

Lead and supervise mechanical team and daily maintenance tasks and project assignments.
Implement creative solutions to reduce the cost of materials, components, and labor.
Ability to modify and fabricate parts.
Create and update technical documents.
Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation in accordance with industry and company standards.
Promote safe behavior within the maintenance department.
Effectively manage the training and development of skills, knowledge and abilities within the technical group of the maintenance department.
Assist with evaluating project or process requests for maintenance and facility matters.
Interact with various internal and external customers to refer/resolve problems associated with assigned work activities.
Create reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff
Perform administrative and record keeping functions but not limited to keys, equipment, and supplies.
Collect and compile data; evaluate project or process requests; develop ad-hoc queries as requested by production team or management.

Qualifications:

Technical degreed preferred or related field / experience (mininum HS Dipolma)
Proficiency in CAD, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD
Experience in creating 2D and 3D models.
+5 years of related experience
Excellent knowledge of mechanical principles
Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with upper management and team members.
Strong project management skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with a wide range of professionals.
