As a critical function within Supply Chain, your main mission will be to build and continuously improve the Demand Plan for your assigned markets, ensuring a strong balance between business ambition and operational excellence. You will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Chain and Finance teams to deliver accurate, unbiased, and actionable forecasts.
Beyond your market responsibilities, you will also contribute to the transformation of our Demand Planning organization through transversal responsibilities such as Key User activities, process improvements, and European projects, including the implementation of Blue Yonder D360.
Main Responsibilities / Mission
- Build and continuously improve the Demand Plan for your assigned markets, leveraging sales history, market intelligence, promotional plans, sell-out data and business assumptions over a 24-month horizon.
- Deliver an accurate and unbiased forecast by monitoring forecast performance, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to continuously improve forecast quality.
- Challenge and consolidate forecasts provided by Sales and Marketing, ensuring robust assumptions for promotions, new product launches and commercial initiatives.
- Be a key business partner to stakeholders representing both local organization (General Manager, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing and Finance) as well as headquarters (SC, IT, Sales, Marketing)
- Collaborate closely with Finance to reconcile operational and financial forecasts, documenting key assumptions and supporting business decision-making.
- Prepare, facilitate and lead the monthly Demand Review process, ensuring local management team sign off on the Demand Plan and clear visibility on risks, opportunities and business assumptions.
- Partner with Supply teams to anticipate demand changes, secure product availability and support inventory optimization, with particular focus on strategic products and commercial initiatives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Demand Planning processes, forecasting methodologies and digital tools to increase planning efficiency and forecast quality.
- Participate in European and global Supply Chain projects, contributing to process standardization, best practice sharing and the successful implementation of new planning capabilities.
Qualifications
- First experience in experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Forecasting or a similar analytical role.
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment is a plus.
- FMCG experience is an advantage.
Technical Competencies
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
- Experience with forecasting/planning tools (Blue Yonder, SAP IBP, Anaplan or similar) is a plus.
- Fluent in French and in English.
- Understanding of forecasting, S&OP/IBP processes and supply chain principles.
