Director, Group Treasurer

We are looking for an outstanding treasury executive to lead this evolution.

This role goes well beyond traditional treasury operations. It offers the opportunity to redefine how Treasury supports business performance, strengthens financial resilience and creates value across the Group.

The successful candidate will become one of the key finance leaders of the company, partnering closely with Executive Management, regional finance organizations, family shareholders and global banking partners.

The Challenges Ahead

• Build a best-in-class global Treasury function.
• Increase financial agility by optimizing liquidity, funding structures and capital efficiency.
• Accelerate digital transformation through TMS modernization, bank connectivity, automation and AI-enabled forecasting.
• Strengthen FX, interest rate, commodity and liquidity risk management.
• Become a strategic business partner supporting M&A, transformation and capital allocation.

Key Responsibilities

The Group Treasurer will have overall responsibility for the Group's worldwide treasury activities, including:

• Treasury strategy and policy for 80+ legal entities
• Global liquidity management
• Cash forecasting
• Capital structure optimization
• Bank relationship management
• Corporate funding and refinancing
• Foreign exchange, interest rate and commodity risk management
• Treasury technology and digital transformation
• Share buyback programme
• Treasury governance and internal controls
• Treasury support for M&A and strategic projects
• Development of the international treasury organization
• The role will also serve as the principal treasury advisor to Executive Management and maintain close relationships with family shareholders, financial institutions, regulators and external advisors.

• Strengthened relationships with global banking partners.
• Positioned Treasury as a recognized strategic partner across the Group.
• Developed a high-performing international treasury team ready to support BIC's long-term ambitions, at a time when Treasury is being centralized with local treasurers reporting under the new leader

The Executive We Are Looking For

Executive presence, strategic mindset, operational excellence, strong influencing skills, integrity, sound judgement, collaborative leadership and demonstrated success leading treasury transformation in multinational organizations.

Experience

• 15+ years of Corporate Treasury leadership.
• Experience in complex multinational environments.
• Expertise in funding, liquidity, financial risk management, bank relationships.
• International leadership experience.
• Board / Executive Committee exposure is a plus.

Education

Master's degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration.
Certifications are a plus.
Fluent English required.
