About the Role

The Group Transformation Office (GTO) drives BIC’s transformation by shaping the target operating model, accelerating end-to-end performance through Phoenix, and ensuring disciplined execution of the strategic roadmap and key enablers. Within this context, the Head of Enterprise Value Chain Transformation Programs is the architect and catalyst of end-to-end value chain performance: defining how our critical processes operate across Categories, Regions/Countries, and Functions; establishing clear process ownership and governance; governing a Process Performance Scorecard to provide real-time visibility and decision-grade insights; and driving measurable improvements in cost, service, quality, cash, and compliance. This role partners closely with Global End-to-End Process Owners / Value Chain Leaders across five main scopes (Categories, Manufacturing, Commercial, Supply Chain and Functions) to ensure value is created end-to-end through the way we work, embed standards, and ensure robust follow-through on Group Internal Audit remediation, ensuring that Phoenix delivers sustained operational impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Value Chain Orchestration: Coordinate cross-functional teams to design, optimize, and implement end-to-end value chain processes across Categories, Commercial, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Functions; align improvements with strategic programs (e.g., Phoenix) and business objectives; ensure consistency in process execution across all value chain blocks
  • Gatekeeper of Process Standards: Define and enforce governance frameworks for process compliance, quality, and performance; review and approve process changes to ensure alignment with Group standards and best practices; monitor and audit processes, identify deviations, and drive corrective actions
  • Process Performance Scorecard: Design, deploy, and govern an end-to-end scorecard to institutionalize a data-driven excellence culture with real-time visibility; embed KPIs into Global End-to-End Process Owners / Value Chain Leaders’ operating rhythms to drive accountability and continuous improvement; translate insights into ExCom/Board-ready actions to prioritize high-impact initiatives and optimize enterprise resources
  • Process Governance & Compliance: Establish process architectures (value streams, RACI, SOPs) for Categories, Commercial, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Functions; ensure processes align with regulatory, ESG, and internal governance requirements; coordinate remediation plans for Group Internal Audit findings with Global End-to-End Process Owners / Value Chain Leaders, tracking closure and embedding learnings to strengthen controls and drive continuous improvement
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Lead process improvement initiatives (continuous improvement, Lean/Six Sigma) to enhance efficiency and quality across the value chain; promote innovation through automation (RPA, AI) and digitalization; develop and maintain a Process Excellence Playbook to codify methodologies and best practices
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with the Enterprise Projects Portfolio Officer (PPO) to align process improvements with strategic projects; work with Change Management to ensure smooth adoption of new processes; collaborate with GBS to tailor processes to operational needs while maintaining Group standards

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in value chain / operations excellence, end-to-end process management, or transformation roles in a global organization
  • Strong process mapping & architecture skills: ability to design and document end-to-end workflows, value streams, and process standards (including RACI/SOPs) to ensure clarity and alignment
  • Solid business context understanding: clear grasp of how Categories, Commercial, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Functions operate, and how they interconnect end-to-end
  • Technical/IT landscape agility: comfortable leveraging digital tools (automation, data analytics, workflow/ERP concepts) to improve processes, without needing to be an IT expert
  • Proven track record driving measurable improvements across efficiency, quality, service, and working capital through continuous improvement and process redesign (Lean / Six Sigma)
  • Collaboration & orchestration: able to coordinate across teams and align stakeholders to drive collective ownership of processes
  • Problem-solving & pragmatism: practical mindset to identify inefficiencies, prioritize, and implement actionable solutions that work in the real world
  • Adaptability & business acumen: agile and business-savvy, able to navigate complex organizational dynamics and evolving priorities
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt/Black Belt) preferred; FMCG/CPG or manufacturing experience strongly valued

What Success Looks Like

  • End-to-end processes are harmonized and executed consistently across Categories, Commercial, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Functions, with clear ownership and decision rights
  • Governance is effective: process changes are controlled, compliance is monitored, and deviations trigger timely corrective actions
  • Continuous improvement is embedded, with a visible pipeline delivering measurable gains in efficiency and quality
  • Digital and automation opportunities (RPA, AI) are translated into practical deployments that reduce non-value-added work and improve reliability
  • Strategic programs (including Phoenix) land as durable process changes, adopted by teams with effective change management and operational fit
