Senior Supply Chain Planning Systems Developer

As part of our ongoing Supply Chain transformation, we are looking for a Supply Chain Planning Systems Developer to join our IT Planning team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the hands-on development, maintenance, and enhancement of technical solutions supporting our Blue Yonder planning platform. You will develop and optimize backend processes, database solutions, and data flows to ensure the reliability and performance of our Supply Chain Planning systems.

Working closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Product Owners, and IT teams globally, you will translate business requirements into effective technical solutions, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our planning applications.

This position is ideal for a technically skilled developer who enjoys solving complex problems and working with enterprise applications, databases, and Supply Chain systems.

Your Mission

As a Supply Chain Planning Systems Developer, your primary responsibility will be to develop, maintain, and support the technical components of our Blue Yonder planning platform.

You will contribute throughout the solution lifecycle, from technical analysis and development to testing, deployment, and production support.

Your focus will be on delivering reliable, efficient, and scalable technical solutions that support critical Supply Chain Planning processes and ensure effective data exchange with other enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

Blue Yonder Development and Maintenance

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend components within the Blue Yonder platform.
• Design and improve data processing workflows supporting Supply Chain planning activities inside Blue Yonder.
• Develop and maintain database objects, stored procedures, and automation scripts.
• Implement technical enhancements based on business requirements.
• Contribute to development standards, best practices, and technical governance.

Integration and Interface Management

• Define integration patterns (specifications) between Blue Yonder and ERP systems conjointly with Integration team.
• Ensure seamless data exchange between enterprise applications.
• Maintain data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems.
• Participate in the design and evolution of integration architectures.
• Investigate and resolve data flow and interface-related issues.

Production Support and Incident Resolution

• Provide expert-level support for production incidents.
• Troubleshoot application, database, and integration issues.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement sustainable solutions.
• Define and execute corrective and preventive actions.
• Support critical business processes and ensure system availability.

Project Delivery

• Work closely with Business Analysts to understand functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
• Participate in solution design workshops and technical reviews.
• Contribute to testing, validation, and deployment activities.
• Support release management and production rollouts.

Documentation and Continuous Improvement

• Maintain technical documentation and solution knowledge repositories.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
• Promote development and operational best practices.
• Support knowledge sharing and technical mentoring within the team.

You will work within a modern enterprise ecosystem combining Supply Chain planning solutions with corporate business applications.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a highly motivated professional with strong technical expertise and a solid understanding of enterprise application environments.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development and/or application integration.
• Experience supporting complex business-critical systems.
• Proven track record in production support and troubleshooting.
• Experience working in international and cross-functional environments.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong SQL and relational database expertise.
• Experience with backend application development.
• Basic understanding (concepts) of enterprise integrations and data flows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Experience with software development lifecycle and deployment practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Blue Yonder / JDA solutions. Knowledge of SCPO environments.
• Experience integrating ERP platforms such as JD Edwards, SAP, or similar systems.
• Understanding of Supply Chain Planning processes.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery models.
