Drive the development of procurement strategies related to the assigned categories. Align to priorities and performance goals, develop the strategy and implement strategic sourcing efforts and innovation in specific category areas as necessary and appropriate. Deploy sourcing best practices globally and ensure they are widely adopted

Monitor strategy implementation. Track and trace forecasted performance vs. actual savings for the global categories. Provide solutions to mitigate any supply risk

Represent sourcing categories with key Group stakeholders. Communicate sourcing market trends/results for Global categories to Key stakeholders. Work together with finance stakeholders to ensure savings are built and measurable into budgets and the annual operating plan. Deliver yearly budget costs by providing market effect, standards and productivity initiatives.

Coordinate the process to select, monitor and segment supplier portfolio. Manage the supplier selection and negotiation process for key sourcing teams and overall management of the strategic suppliers to the group.

Maintain expertise in the Global categories of spend. Remain current with market trends through relationships with Supply Managers, suppliers and market experts, and ensure that we have a process to gain access/familiarity with emerging supplier capabilities

Implement the Group Sustainability Targets and develop the sourcing strategies include Sustainable Engineering

Ensure compliance with internal and external policies, regulations, contracts management and laws, as well as monitoring suppliers quality, risk and compliance and sustainable performance

Conduct the Category Strategy Planning: Mobilize teaming, Collect category insights (with Analytics) & create category profiles, Identify opportunities & prioritize projects (with Business Partner) and Create category and buying channel strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in Procurement within Metals categories.
- Previous experience in FMCG / Consumer Goods companies is highly preferred
- Strong experience managing cross‑functional stakeholders in complex, matrix organizations.
- Proven background in strategic sourcing, tenders, negotiations, and savings generation.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing environments and packaging engineering interfaces.
- Advanced English (mandatory), with strong ability to communicate with global stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with Excel, Power BI, and procurement data (user level; creation is a plus but not required).
