Transactional Buyer

We are looking for a Operational procurement Specialist to join our team and support the efficient execution of procurement processes. In this role, you will ensure smooth purchase-to-pay operations, provide support to internal stakeholders and suppliers, and contribute to continuous improvement in procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process purchase requisitions to ensure they comply with purchasing policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Provide guidance and support to end users on procurement processes and help resolve technical issues related to Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs) and Goods Receipts (GRs).
• Use procurement tools and systems in accordance with established processes and requirements.
• Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders and suppliers, providing timely and accurate support.
• Deliver high-quality service with a strong customer-focused mindset, ensuring stakeholders feel supported and understood.
• Ensure procurement activities are performed in compliance with global and local laws, regulations and company policies.
• Identify, report and follow up on incidents related to procurement processes, assessing their nature, impact and appropriate corrective actions.
• Escalate issues when necessary to ensure effective communication and timely resolution.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of internal customers and their business environment, including applicable Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Actively participate in low-value sourcing activities, including identifying opportunities for catalog and P-card usage.
• Support negotiations for low-value purchases to ensure the best possible terms and conditions for the company.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, procurement operations, or a similar support role.
• Experience in operational procurement, purchasing, or junior buyer roles is an advantage.
• Good understanding of procurement processes and experience with procurement systems or ERP tools.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively support and guide internal stakeholders.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to propose practical solutions.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with a strong customer-oriented mindset.
• English – required (written and spoken).
