The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to site leadership in Charlotte (North Carolina), supporting the development and execution of HR initiatives that drive business performance and organizational effectiveness. This role provides leadership across talent management, employee relations, workforce planning, and HR program implementation, while fostering a positive and compliant work environment.
The HRBP also colborates closely with external staffing partners to ensure effective workforce management.
What You’ll Do
- Act as a strategic partner to site leadership, translating business goals into effective HR strategies that drive organizational performance and talent outcomes
- Lead talent management initiatives, including performance reviews, talent assessments, succession planning, and career development to build organizational capability
- Coach and advise managers on employee relations, performance management, team effectiveness, and leadership development
- Own and manage complex employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations, ensuring consistency, fairness, and compliance
- Partner with temporary staffing agencies to optimize workforce planning, improve processes, and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Procurement, and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to support workforce strategies, contract negotiations, and HR programs
- Serve as the primary HR contact on-site, supporting policies, benefits, compensation, and compliance-related matters
- Drive employee engagement and DEI initiatives, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment
- Support and lead change management efforts, influencing leaders and employees through organizational changes
What You’ll Need (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience supporting hourly populations and front-line leadership
- Strong knowledge of employee relations practices and employment laws (federal and state)
- Proven ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of an organization
- Experience with HRIS systems and data-driven decision-making (people analytics), working knowledge of SuccessFactors is a plus
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
- Available to work on site
- Salary expectation starting USD 105,000.00 annually
