Position Summary

The Global Demand Planning Business Process Owner (BPO) plays a critical role in driving the evolution of BIC's global demand planning capabilities by connecting business processes, planning technology, and data-driven decision making. This position leads continuous improvement initiatives across demand planning tools and processes while supporting major transformation programs, including the transition to Demand360 and the Apollo roadmap. Working closely with regional planning teams, IT, Supply Chain, Finance, and global stakeholders, the BPO ensures planning solutions meet business needs, improve forecasting effectiveness, and increase process standardization across regions. In addition, this role serves as a key partner to the global planning community by promoting best practices, enabling user adoption, and providing strategic insights that enhance forecast transparency, planner productivity, and overall business performance.

Main activities/ responsibilities:

Demand Planning Transformation & Systems

Support the global Demand Planning transformation roadmap, including the implementation of Demand360 and the Apollo program.
Partner with business and IT stakeholders to define requirements, validate solutions, test new functionalities, and ensure successful deployments.
Drive user adoption, training, and change management activities across regions.

Process Improvement & Planning Excellence

Continuously enhance demand planning processes, forecasting methodologies, and planning capabilities.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data visibility, and decision-making through technology and process optimization.
Translate business needs into practical solutions that support the global Demand Planning roadmap.

Global Stakeholder Collaboration

Act as a key link between Demand Planning, Supply Chain, IT, Finance, and regional planning teams.
Facilitate best practice sharing and promote standardized ways of working across markets.
Support and develop a global network of key users through training, communication, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Forecasting & Business Insights

Consolidate and analyze forecast data for a global product category, providing visibility into trends, risks, and opportunities.
Support the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process through data-driven insights and forecasting transparency.
Leverage analytics to enhance forecast accuracy and support business decision-making.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.
Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Supply Chain, Business Analysis, Project Management, or similar analytical roles.
Experience working with planning systems such as Blue Yonder (BY), Anaplan, or comparable solutions.
Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilities.
Fluent English required.
Availability to work on a hybrid model at our office based in Toreo (México) or in Barueri (SP - Brazil)
