We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead plastics and raw materials sourcing across the Americas (mainly Mexico and Brazil). This role is accountable for strategic supplier management, negotiations, cost savings, contract coverage, and dual sourcing, working closely with Manufacturing and R&D teams to ensure business continuity and value creation.

This is a manager-level, individual contributor role, reporting directly to a global procurement leader and playing a key role in regional and global sourcing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead strategic sourcing and negotiation activities for plastics and related raw materials across the Americas
Manage an annual spend of approximately USD 40–50M across a diverse supplier base
Define and manage the supplier panel, including contract negotiation, payment terms, and performance follow-up
Drive cost savings initiatives in close collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, and R&D teams
Implement and strengthen dual sourcing strategies, especially for critical materials and suppliers
Support and negotiate new projects and product launches, including supplier selections and project follow-up
Lead the integration of new suppliers, ensuring alignment with operational, quality, and business requirements
Map and continuously assess the supplier portfolio, identifying risks, opportunities, and innovation potential
Act as a key procurement partner for Manufacturing and R&D teams across multiple sites

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
Experience in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing
Experience managing raw materials (plastics experience is a plus, but not mandatory)
Strong background in:
- Strategic negotiations
- Supplier management
- Cost savings initiatives
- Contract management
Experience in industries such as FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Automotive, or Industrial manufacturing
Ability to operate effectively in a matrix, international environment
English: Fluent (mandatory) – daily interaction with global stakeholders and suppliers
Spanish: Strongly preferred (Portuguese is a plus)
Travel mainly to Mexico (Saltillo), Brazil (Manaus), and selected supplier locations
