To lead and optimize end-to-end logistics operations across two manufacturing plants and oversee the Regional Foreign Trade Center of Excellence (CoE), fostering a strong culture of safety, leadership, and operational discipline, within a framework of operational excellence, standardized processes, and strict regulatory compliance, in order to ensure service reliability, inventory accuracy, seamless import/export execution, cost efficiency, and sustainable business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead warehouse operations across two plants, ensuring optimal use of people, equipment, and space while reinforcing a high-performance culture built on safety, compliance, and discipline.
- Optimize warehouse layout, infrastructure, and material flow for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods—maximizing throughput, productivity, and cost efficiency.
- Own inventory management and material movements, aligning inbound/outbound execution with production schedules and demand requirements to ensure availability and continuity.
- Strengthen inbound/outbound quality and compliance controls, ensuring material specifications, inspections, and control processes prevent deviations and operational risk.
- Drive continuous improvement (Lean / CI) initiatives to reduce waste, improve service levels, increase reliability, and lower total logistics cost.
- Lead the Regional Foreign Trade CoE, standardizing import/export processes and ensuring full compliance across certificates of origin, customs documentation, tariff classification, and trade regulations.
- Manage customs brokers and external trade partners, ensuring service reliability, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and cost optimization; act as the key interface with customs authorities.
- Own logistics financial performance, including budget planning, cost control, and working-capital optimization, aligned to KPIs and business targets.
- Enable logistics transformation through governance and analytics, leveraging ERP/WMS, KPI management, and digital tools to enhance visibility and execution consistency across the network.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- Advanced/Fluent English (daily communication with regional stakeholders)
- Years of progressive experience in logistics/warehouse management and international trade within a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience in inventory management, demand-supply alignment, and warehouse optimization (layout, storage, throughput, material handling)
- Strong knowledge of import/export compliance, including certificates of origin, customs documentation, tariff classification, and trade regulations
- Experience managing 3PL providers and customs brokers with performance management (SLA/KPIs)
- Strong financial acumen in budget planning, cost control, and working capital optimization
- Practical exposure to Lean / CI and operational excellence systems
- Experience in FMCG, food, pharmaceutical, or other high-compliance/high-volume manufacturing environments
- Exposure to multi-site operations and large workforce leadership (high-volume warehouses and complex material flows)
- Analytical, structured problem solver; data-driven decision making
- Clear communicator with strong negotiation skills
