We are looking for a strategic and entrepreneurial marketing leader to drive the growth of BIC's Lighters business across North America, with a strong focus on identifying new sources of consumer demand and unlocking profitable growth opportunities.
In this role, you will own the development and execution of brand and category strategies, leading initiatives that deliver sales, market share, profitability, and brand equity objectives. You will combine strong brand-building expertise with a commercial mindset, acting as a business leader responsible for connecting consumer insights, innovation, marketing investments, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute brand and category growth strategies to achieve sales, market share, profitability, and brand objectives.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, emerging consumer segments, channels, and market trends.
- Lead innovation, renovation, and new product launch initiatives from concept to commercialization.
- Build impactful integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, ecommerce, retail, and traditional channels.
- Manage brand budgets, marketing investments, and business performance metrics.
- Translate consumer, customer, category, and competitive insights into actionable business strategies.
- Drive strong cross-functional collaboration and influence key stakeholders to deliver business results.
- Lead agency partnerships and ensure excellence in marketing execution.
- Contribute to a high-performance culture through leadership, coaching, and talent development.
What We're Looking For
- 6-8+ years of Brand Management or Marketing experience, preferably within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG).
- Proven success managing brands, category strategies, innovation programs, and business performance.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience working against sales, profitability, and market share objectives.
- Experience leveraging consumer insights and syndicated data (Nielsen, Circana, IRI/NIQ, etc.) to drive decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to identify growth opportunities, challenge the status quo, and turn ideas into action.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading product launches, integrated marketing campaigns, and agency partnerships.
BIC’s NAM headquarters will be located in Norwalk, Connecticut. Scheduled to open in 2027, the new headquarters is designed to foster a collaborative, flexible, and modern work environment while supporting a hybrid work model.
