The Logistics Data Analyst turns complex supply chain and logistics data into clear, actionable insights that improve service, reduce cost, and increase operational efficiency. This role plays a critical part in enabling data-driven decision making across Transportation, Distribution, Customer Service, Commercial, Finance, and IT.

With a focus on performance analytics, reporting automation, and data governance, this individual will help elevate visibility across the end-to-end supply chain and support continuous improvement through scalable tools and standardized metrics.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

Drive Performance Visibility & Insights

  • Develop and manage KPIs across transportation, warehousing, and order fulfillment
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Translate business needs into clear, data-driven insights and recommendations

Enable Reporting Automation & Data Integrity

  • Build and automate dashboards and reporting (Power BI, Alteryx, etc.)
  • Improve real-time visibility while reducing manual reporting effort
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across ERP, WMS, TMS, and other systems

Support Transformation & Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate logistics processes and identify opportunities to improve service and cost
  • Partner with IT and cross-functional teams to enhance analytics capabilities
  • Support implementation of new tools, processes, and reporting frameworks

Influence Through Data & Collaboration

  • Align stakeholders on KPI definitions, reporting standards, and insights
  • Communicate findings through clear, compelling data storytelling
  • Bring external best practices and innovative approaches to analytics

What You Bring:

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Operations, Engineering, or related field preferred)
  • 5–7 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, and dashboard development
  • 2-3 years of experience in supply chain preferred
  • CPG experience preferred

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel (data modeling, complex formulas, macros, etc.)
  • Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, or similar tools
  • Working knowledge of ERP, WMS, TMS, and SQL-based data environments

Capabilities

  • Strong technical skills, analytical thinking, and problem solving skills required
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems into clear analyses
  • Effective communicator with strong data storytelling skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate and influence across functions
  • Continuous improvement mindset (Lean/Six Sigma a plus)
