The Business Analyst for End-to-End (E2E) Integrated Business Planning (IBP) will play a crucial role in supporting the team by establishing and nurturing relationships, pursuing valuable contacts, and capitalizing on emerging opportunities. This individual will need to focus beyond the immediate team, engaging with business users to define their requirements, and facilitating the sharing of knowledge, ideas, and application support.

 

Major Duties:

Manage Design and Development

  • Project Planning and Risk Management: Develop and oversee project plans, timelines, and resource allocation. Identify and mitigate risks to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Business Needs and Functional Requirements: Assess business needs and translate them into detailed functional requirements.
  • Process and Application Design: Create detailed specifications for processes and application designs to meet business objectives.
  • Application Engineering: Configure and customize JDA (Blue Yonder) and Anaplan applications to support global business needs, adhering to GPS methodologies.
  • Training and Testing: Develop and conduct system training, and participate in system, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure effective deployment and user proficiency.

 

Manage Solution Implementation

  • Setup and Configuration: Oversee the setup and customization of JDA (Blue Yonder), Anaplan, and GPS Middleware applications as per GPS team requirements, ensuring proper integration with existing systems.
  • Implementations and Training: Lead the implementation process and deliver training programs to ensure users are proficient with new systems.
  • Application Rollout: Direct the deployment of Demand, Fulfillment, ICO, and GPS Lite applications across various countries, tailoring solutions to regional needs.
  • Process Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for processes related to system setup, configuration, and usage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Supply Chain) to integrate Blue Yonder with other enterprise systems (Anaplan, JDE, Power BI) and ensure data accuracy and consistency: This involves coordinating with different teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow between systems.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and facilitate training sessions to ensure successful adoption and utilization of Anaplan applications: This includes preparing test cases, leading testing sessions, and training users on how to use Blue Yonder effectively.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Blue Yonder users, addressing issues and optimizing system performance:  This involves resolving user issues, monitoring system performance, and making necessary adjustments.
  • Stay updated on Blue Yonder best practices and industry trends, applying insights to continuously enhance demand planning and factory planning capabilities:  Time is dedicated to learning about new features, best practices, and industry developments to keep the system and processes current and effective.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proven experience (4+ years) as a Business Analyst or similar role, with a focus on demand planning, supply planning, factory planning or integrated business planning
  • Fluent English. French, Spanish or Portuguese preferred. We are working in a multicultural environment
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including demand forecasting, inventory management, production planning, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and IT transformation environment

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency; familiarity with statistical modeling and forecasting techniques is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of working collaboratively across teams and levels of the organization. Close links within IT with business analysts, architects, and project managers, within supply chain with planners and within finance with analysts.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and delivering results under tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Preferred hands-on experience with Blue Yonder, Demand, Supply and Factory modules.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
