The Specialist Operational Procurement PO Management supports the End-to-end Purchase requisition to PO process conversion. Delivers high quality purchasing services on a day-to-day basis according to defined procedures, respecting quantity, quality and timing.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Purchase Order (PO) processing
- Review POS to check if they are created correctly and follows up any issues related to PO creation
- Responsible to deliver the agreed service for process in scope
- Check service is delivered within local laws and regulations
- Process purchase requisitions: review purchase requests to ensure compliance with purchasing policies and rules
- Follow SLA’s and KPI’s for different services are known to relevant people and achieved by and team
- Support the end to end service and Global delivery for all BIC entities
- Support the user defining purchase requests when needed.
- Propose documentation changes / improvements to process when required
- Provide advice and helps solve technical problems related to POs, according to the service descriptions and procedures, respecting quality and timing
- Drive catalogue utilization and spend on contract as per a predefined process
- Independent execution of tasks
- Provide advice and analysis to the team manager.
Requirements:
- High school degree (University education is desired)
- 1-2 years of experience in a Shared Services environment for a global company is required
- Advanced English and French
- Exposure to ERPs; JDE is a plus
- Strong communication skills: clear and professional interaction with internal teams and customers
- Customer service orientation and attention to details
- Ability to work in teams, with deadlines and time pressure
- High ethical standards
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
