As a Senior HR Manager for BIC Graphic, you are a key strategic partner to the leadership team, driving the people agenda across all functions including Operations, Commercial, Marketing and Corporate.
You oversee all HR activities for BIC Graphic team members based primarily in Tarragona, as well as those distributed across various locations in Europe. You provide direction and support to functional leaders, ensuring alignment of the organization’s structure, talent, and culture with strategic priorities.
Working closely with the European HR Leadership Team, you contribute to the pan-European HR roadmap, participating in cross-border initiatives such as leadership development, succession planning, organizational design, and employee engagement. You ensure operational excellence in all areas of HR, including compliance with local labor legislation, talent acquisition, performance management, training, people development and HSE.
BUSINESS PARTNERING

Provides guidance/counselling on the most efficient and adequate organization in line with the business goals and the capabilities needed

Contributes to the Operating Plans, the budget cycles and reviews of each of the countries/functions supported

Builds strong relationships with works councils and employee representatives, ensuring a climate of social dialogue, trust, and constructive engagement.

Leads negotiations and consultation processes as required, while ensuring compliance with legal frameworks.

Ensures full compliance with local labor laws, health & safety regulations, and internal policies.

Partners with Health, Safety & Security teams to maintain a safe and compliant working environment and proactively address any workforce-related risks.

Elaborates and drives a people plan (organization, team member development, succession) for his/her perimeter, in synch with the Europe HR roadmap
PEOPLE’S CHAMPION

Develops a good knowledge of the team members of his/her perimeter and acts as the HR key contact

Bring support and coaching to managers in their team management: to better deliver performance feedback, build development plans, create team dynamics…

Contribute to identifying talents within the organization and developmental opportunities

Drives the people/organization communication agenda throughout the year
CENTER OF EXPERTISE COUNTERPART
Leverage on the COEs HR to deliver the best experience to our candidates and team members and more specifically:

Engages with Talent Acquisition on each hiring process and provide feedback to the hiring managers

Manages our compensation /job classification system

Monitors our benefits offer across countries

Proactively shares his/her specific expectations for support/project for the Cluster and the functional/COE departments
HR PROCESSES AND COMMUNICATION

Designs the annual training plan based on the training needs detection and development plans of team members, in alignment with the business orientations

Runs the Total Rewards agenda with the objective of differentiating performance, recognizing talent, addressing internal and external consistency and be able to attract and retain talent

Completes the Talent Review and Succession plans

Deploys Group process of Engagement survey and supporting managers for action plans

Provides a constant view on headcount and HR costs in liaise with Finance
-
Supports the Management Team for underperformance management and disciplinary actions (or termination of contracts)

Leads the Communication strategy within BGE and externally, promoting BGE’s employer branding. Liaises with the Europe Communications team to ensure internal communication on team members and people initiatives.

Implements wellbeing and recognition activities
Qualifications:
-
Relevant studies in HR, law or BA.
-
Solid knowledge of social legislation and employee relations, with proven experience in an industrial or factory environment.

Minimum of 8 years of professional experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager in Spain, ideally within industrial or manufacturing environments.

Fluent in both English and Spanish. Catalan is a must.
