The role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced AP Transaction Lead to join our team. You will be overseeing the AP function globally, reporting into the Senior Finance Transactional Manager, working closely with the Finance Assistant. This position will give the right individual the opportunity to contribute to the growth of one of the world’s most ingenious and loved brands!
In this role you’ll get to:

Take responsibility for all AP, including overseeing the US work while being personally responsible for UK postings.

Coach and mentor the AP Finance Assistant

Own AP close at month-end for both the UK & US.

Review the aged payables report on a weekly basis.

Process purchase ledger invoices for all UK vendors and reconciling these accounts monthly.

Process credit card transactions and expenses.

Process mid-month and end of the month payment runs (BACS, FX & TT INC), as well as any adhoc payments.

Drive process improvements, including suggesting & implementing your own ideas.

Manage the training of PO and expense processes for all new starters.

Revalue the FX bank accounts at month end and reconciling against the trial balance.

Assist with statutory audit preparation.

Support cash-flow projections.
What we are looking for in you:
-
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar roles.

A good level of MS Excel and Outlook skills.

Microsoft Navision (desired but not essential).

Strong organisation skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.

A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

A team player with the ability to also work unsupervised.

A good communicator with interpersonal skills.
