The Role
As a Sales Executive, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for supporting the growth and success of Tangle Teezer’s business. You will be responsible for assisting the sales team in various administrative tasks, coordinating sales activities, ensuring smooth operations of the sales processes, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication to your internal team retailers. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to multitask will be essential in this role.
In this role you’ll get to:
- Work with major US retailers such as Target, Walmart, CVS and Walgreens
- Learn and understand the accounts you will be assigned to, keeping accurate, ongoing notes, and assisting in organizing account timelines
- Communicate with customers and respond to purchase order requests, internal data integrity requests, sales requests and other inquiries
- Coordinate new line launch information in a timely manner
- Learn to use all retailer portals for product set-up, order processing and other account admin
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships
- Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics and finance, to ensure the timely delivery and payment of orders
- Liaise with EPD/NPD team and send all new product samples to Sales Team and customers based on availability
- Assist the Account Manager in preparation for major customer meetings and events
- Preparing and sending samples to customers
- Maintain and update internal databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date customer information
- Assist in supporting the Sales team with day-to-day ad hoc tasks
- Provide some small office management assistance to the wider team such as mail or meeting co-ordination
- Provide updated sales reports for account teams
- Report on and analyze competitor pricing, promotions, and performance
- Serve as a point of contact for broader customer teams where required, to help solve customer issues and provide information to them
- Provide support to Account Managers in the planning and preparation for trade shows, including coordinating with internal cross-functional teams and external agencies
What we are looking for in you:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and validation, and reporting purposes
- Beneficial but not essential is a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
