Lucio Lopes’ Manufacturing Career Moves

Having started his career at our manufacturing facility in Manaus, Brazil back in 2016, Lucio has seen production expansion and manufacturing innovation first-hand as a part of our Shavers business. After some time supporting projects in Supply Chain for the America’s, he relocated to Saltillo, Mexico in 2021 to lead our facility in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico after being promoted to Plant Director.

  • "Having been a part of a global team in different roles, I feel deeply connected to our work and my view of the business has been amplified. The move from Brazil to Mexico meant a lot to me personally and professionally,” Lucio shared as he reflected on his journey.

Pete Zafiropoulos Keeps Innovation at Top of Mind

Pete was excited at the opportunity to influence the future of an iconic brand like BIC after growing up using the BIC Cristal and 4-Color pens. He kicked-off his career in Athens, Greece, focused on developing new shaver products. His key eye for innovation led him to our North American headquarters in Shelton, Connecticut, where he helped expand our patent portfolio. Today, Pete lives in France, leading our Global Product Engineering team, where he is focused on developing new solutions to meet our consumers’ needs in sustainable ways.

  • When asked what he’s learned during his tenure at BIC, Pete said, “Curiosity is critical to continue evolving and keeping our creative juices fresh. I’ve been lucky to have had great mentors that have pushed me to reach beyond my current capabilities and expand my skillset.”

Alix Dolidon Shares her Career Experiences Across Three Continents

Throughout her nine-year career with BIC, Alix Dolidon has held various financial roles across North America, Europe, and the Middle East. She began her journey with BIC in 2014 as the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager for BIC Graphic based in Florida. In 2017 Alix made her big move to Paris where she took on the Finance responsibility for the Group Shaver business and supported the implementation of the Group Insights and Innovation organization before moving to Dubai in 2020.

  • Since April 2023, Alix has been leading the Finance team for Group Supply Chain and will soon make another move to Athens, Greece. Being a part of BIC's global team has allowed Alix to engage with other cultures, diverse backgrounds, and experiences, fostering her open-minded approach to the world.

Felipe Favoretto Embraces Different Ways of Working

In 2010, Felipe joined Team BIC as Product Manager in Sao Paolo, Brazil. Throughout his tenure, he has held several roles leading marketing and product management Latin America, including Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. Currently, he is the Head of Marketing for Asia-Pacific and is living in Melbourne Australia.  

  • Having been immersed in several different cultures over the years, Felipe shares about his global experience: “You learn how to embrace different ways of work, respect other’s point of view and expand the way you see and process the world.”

Tan Khan Leans into his Entrepreneurial Spirit

After a few years working for a large consumer goods company, Tan was looking to make a career change, where he’d be empowered to bring his entrepreneurial spirit to the marketing space. He joined BIC Cello in Mumbai, India as a Marketing Director, where he was challenged with simplifying the product portfolio. After building a high-performing team focused on business transformation, Tan moved to Dubai to increase the scope of his work, now supporting marketing activities across Latin America and Asia.

  • “Being able to lean into BIC’s global portfolio and knowledge-share across teams, allows me to create robust country-specific plans to deliver business growth,” he shares.  

Yassine Trad Reflects on his Global Impact

Yassine join our Data & Analytics team in Clichy, France in 2019, where he was able to make a real impact with his work by leading the implementation of a new Global Data Platform to create a single, unified repository of data using cloud technologies.

  • Today, he lives and works in Dubai, UAE and says BIC’s global footprint is the favorite part of his job. “Our team is spread across 4 continents, and we work with so many different teams. On any day, I can be speaking a different language or connecting with someone from another country,” Yassine shared.
