Fueling creativity and innovation are essential to how we operate at BIC and our team members are a key part of bringing new ideas to life. BICUp is a program that fosters continuous improvement encouraging team members to pitch innovative ideas that improve our products, processes, and impact.    

In 2024 alone, over 40,000 ideas were generated through BICUp with 25,000 implemented, driving profound efficiencies across our manufacturing processes. From improving workplace safety to enhancing environmental sustainability, our team members are making a tangible impact every day. 

Here’s a glimpse of a few standout ideas: 

  • Improving health and safety in our operations by improving ergonomics and machinery safety.  
  • Increasing production efficiency by upgrading cutting machines using 3D printing.  
  • Reducing supply chain costs by optimizing shipping routes, saving time and money.  
  • Promoting sustainability by recycling waste and improving packaging to reduce environmental impact.

BICUp is already making a difference in our manufacturing facilities in Brazil, Mexico, France, Greece, Kenya, Nigeria, Tunisia and South Africa, with plans to expand to our corporate offices in the future.
