With 1,000+ team members spread across these hubs, the Manaus team focuses on the production of our iconic products – pens, razors, and lighters - while teams in São Paulo focus on driving business strategies on a national level. Learn more about each location below: 

São Paulo office (Barueri, Brazil) 

Nestled within the city of Barueri, BIC’s São Paulo office serves as a vibrant hub of innovation and collaboration. Here, teams come together to drive business success across various functions including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Legal, IT, Finance and HR. 

  • Central Location: Located near the capital in the city of Barueri, the office is situated near local attractions and a bustling shopping mall, offering both convenience and accessibility for team members. 
  • Social Impact: Reflecting our commitment to social responsibility, our São Paulo team donated 105,000+ products to meaningful causes in 2023. 
  • Hybrid Work: To promote flexibility, team members spend 2 days working in the office and 3 days working remote. 

 

Manaus factory (Amazonas, Brazil)  

The 850+ team members who work in our Manaus factory, which recently celebrated its 50th anniversary, are an embodiment of our commitment to manufacturing excellence. With a focus on precision and quality, this is the only BIC plant working on production for all of BIC’s iconic products including pens, razors, and lighters.  

  • Driving Innovation: Through our BICUP program, team members are encouraged to contribute new ideas to foster innovation. Since the program began, over 46,000 ideas have been generated by the team in Manaus. 
  • ESG Certification: Of all local plants in Manaus, the BIC factory is proudly recognized as the second plant in the city to achieve an ESG certification. 
  • Internship Excellence: In 2023, our internship program was awarded as the best internship program in Brazil by the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) - an award that distinguishes organizations for providing best-in-class conditions for carrying out an internship.
