A World of Opportunity: Taking the Leap 

Lea’s career at BIC World is a masterclass in internal mobility. Her path hasn't just been a climb; it’s been a global expansion of her own capabilities. 

• The Evolution to HQ: After her initial role, Lea moved to our Headquarters to step into the Senior Manager TA role for Europe. 
• Going Global: Most recently, her scope evolved again as she relocated to the US to lead Talent Acquisition for the Americas. 
• The Motivation: "My transitions felt really natural," Lea explains. "After my assignment, I was excited to work with new teams with bigger challenges and responsibilities. Moving to the US felt like the next exciting step—an opportunity to keep growing, learn new markets, and continue expanding my impact."

Growth doesn't happen in a vacuum. Lea credits the culture of encouragement at BIC for making her international moves successful. 

"I felt very supported by my manager, HR, and the key stakeholders I worked with throughout each transition. There was always someone at BIC willing to guide me, share advice from their experiences, or open a door. I also had colleagues in the countries I was moving to who proactively checked in and made sure I felt comfortable in each new environment. This support made every move feel much smoother and more meaningful."

What keeps the "Joy" in the journey? For Lea, it’s about the intersection of people and impact. 

"What brings me joy at work is the mix of people and purpose. I love collaborating with teams across regions and learning from different perspectives. Some of the most rewarding projects for me are the moments when we hire a talent and then get to see them thrive at BIC: growing, learning, enjoying their role, and ultimately exceeding expectations and driving impact in the organization. Being part of that journey from the very beginning and watching talent develop is incredibly fulfilling."
