From Intern to Global HR Leader: A Story of Continuous Evolution 

Pablo’s trajectory illustrates how staying open to new challenges can unlock multifaceted professional growth. His story began in June 2019, when he joined BIC as an HR Intern at the Cuautitlán manufacturing facility in Mexico. By November of that year, his initiative and drive led to a full-time role in Recruitment. 

Rather than staying in a single lane, Pablo sought out opportunities to expand his skill set across different sides of the business: 

  • 2019: HR Intern to Full-time Recruitment Specialist at the Cuautitlán plant (Manufacturing). 
  • 2021: Recruitment & Development Coordinator with the Global team. 
  • 2023: Relocated to Ecuador as HR Business Partner (HRBP). 
  • 2025: Returned to Mexico as HR Manager supporting the Commercial organization. 

Reflecting on what inspired his most recent career pivot, Pablo explains: 

"To continue driving my professional growth, develop new skills, and strengthen my experience by taking on broader challenges and greater responsibilities."

"My current role allows me to make an impact by combining a people and business perspective: working closely with the Commercial organization to strengthen the organization and its teams, while contributing to financial planning through Labor Cost and OE forecasting, as well as supporting the business in mitigating labor and legal risks."
