What are your expectations for the next company/position you’ll be taking? 🌟

Interviews are a two-way process and it’s important to share your expectations and motivation! Whether it is the work environment, team synergy, work-life balance, or skill development plans, tell us about what you’re looking for in your next career move! We are interviewing to select the best candidate, but you are also deciding what is the best environment for your career. 

Can you tell me about a time when you effectively implemented an initiative for process or system improvement? What obstacles did you face, resources did you use, and what was the outcome of your initiative? 💡

Our team is made up of innovative thinkers who enjoy rolling up their sleeves to get the job done! This is your opportunity to paint a picture of a problem that needed solving, how you took ownership, how resourceful you were, and how you worked to deliver a desired outcome. Even if the desired outcome was not achieved, we would still like to hear if you were able to take away any key learnings! 

What career accomplishment makes you most proud? 🏅

This question helps us understand the type of work that makes you feel fulfilled and determine whether it’s aligned with what the role entails. This is your opportunity to share something that you worked on that was significant to you or the company (or both). This also showcases a nice highlight from your career that can be shared with the hiring manager!

If you were a convenience store product, what product would you be and why? 🔎

This is a fun, lighthearted question that might take you by surprise but it’s a great way to break the ice and take you a bit outside your comfort zone. Plus, it allows us to really get to know you, how you perceive yourself, and why you identify with that product. But no, you won’t get any bonus points if you name one of our iconic products!
