JOB DESCRIPTION
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS
• Responsible for the timely, accurate and complete reporting of Actuals and Forecasts
• Act as a trusted business partner to senior leadership and create an environment to both challenge and support operations team members with sound financial guidance and strategic insight.
• Supporting, coordinating, and consolidating the annual budgets and rolling forecasts, in conjunction with WACA General Manager, WACA Finance Manager, Sales/Marketing teams and local/HQ finance teams including assumptions validation
• Coordinating, consolidation and interpreting of monthly financial reporting as well as financial performance vs expectations; including drivers of variances, business insights, corrective actions and recommendations for decision making
• Preparation of insight and actions reporting for MEA HQ: working capital, P&L, and balance sheet analysis/KPIs
• Weekly, monthly sales reporting
• Providing all operating departments with the necessary financial analysis and information
• Providing ad-hoc business report analysis to management team
• Working capital monitoring: added value support on inventory management and A/R follow up. Ensure annual goals are met
• Ensure pricing implementation in coordination with sales and marketing
• Track SKUS profitability and drive improvement plans in coordination with marketing team
• Manage spent tracking for brand support, back margin and operating costs
• Participate in rolling forecast and operational plans preparation and deliverables
• Ensure coordination with accounting team in preparation of monthly reporting
KEY PERFOMANCE INDICATORS
• Monthly reporting, adhoc reports and forecasting exercise within set dealdines
• Respect of MENAWACA and MEA HQ deadlines for the month end close process
• Seamless communication with the different business partners
• Cost submission and control on timely manner
• Tracking and review of budget vs actual
• Up to date follow up of spent tracking
• KPIS review and action plan (trade effectiveness, productivity, GP improvement…)
• Forecast accuracy on operating costs and sales in line with region growth strategy
QUALIFICATIONS
R = Required D = Desired
• R – Master’s degree in Finance or business administration
• R – 5-7 years relevant experience in financial analysis, commercial control, pricing and costing in an international company and exposure to operations.
• R – Fluent in English, People Oriented, Proactive
• R – Exposure and interest to ERP and comfortable with IT
• D – JDE, COGNOS & HFM knowledge is a plus
