In this role you will be a member of the Production team, ensuring the smooth operation of Production Department, to best meet production needs within the given time and quality requirements, as well as being responsible for the implementation and subsequent effective operation of PLEX within the BU.
Main Responsibilities/Tasks:
Acts in the most effective, efficient, and safest manner and according to the principles of BIC to:

Ensure department’s continuous production and capacity during the shift

Contribute to quality assurance projects/ processes/ instructions by performing all duties/ actions indicated in them

Ensure compliance with company’s safety and environmental policy and procedures
-
Contribute to the introduction of new products/materials in the production area
-
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts

Ensure and per case deliver employee training on all job-related activities covering Safety, Quality, Machine/Product specific, One-point lessons (OPLs)

Report daily to BU management on the shift’s performance and provide weekly feedback on the KPIs
-
Collaborate with other department's supervisors and manage his/her team members (holidays, absenteeism, replacement etc.)

To check compliance with health, safety and environmental rules at work by team members under their supervision, in accordance with company ‘s policy and prescribed procedures
Additional accountabilities tasks include:

Acquire extensive knowledge of PLEX to be able to perform troubleshooting of process mistakes
-
Use knowledge of PLEX to act as a trainer for all levels of employees
-
Liaise with the rest of the BU stakeholders to align on the system parameters
-
Adopt a systematic approach to achieve familiarity and acceptance of the new system by the operators
-
Organise BU activities/resources to ensure that all steps of the implementation process are completed on time for the expected GO Live date
-
Take part in all the steps that require BU representation to ascertain the level of readiness at each step.

During Go Live period provide support to BU personnel in any shift.

After Go Live, provide necessary support to ensure correct use and operation of the system, as well as run necessary checks and remedial action to ensure data accuracy

Be the focal point for enquiries regarding PLEX within the BU and the single liaison between the BU and the other levels of system governance concerning change requests
Qualifications
Required
-
Bachelor’s degree from Technical University (preferably Mechanical Engineering)
-
2 – 3 years of working experience in a similar position is required in manufacturing or industrial setting

Ability to work in 3 shifts
