Summary
The Team Lead provides the day-to-day support and management of production process flow and team members for the production floor.
** THIS IS A SECOND SHIFT POSITION 3:00pm-11pm - Must be flexible for weekend schedule during peak season **
Responsibilities

Receive direction from Shift Assistant on Priorities of Work

Stage Orders so they are ready when the team arrives to go over work orders

Ensure all product needed to run the order is at the line

Call floor runners for set up of red cans for lighter tray disposal

Maintain the speed of the machine
-
Confirm that RDID and blisters are running before team arrives at line

Assist with building displays with team
-
Review partial orders, put-away product, and scrap at the end of the shift and ensure that all are allocated for proper next steps and/or disposal

Communicate with Shift Assistant when the machines are ready for plug/tool changes and when lines are set-up ready for the production team

Assist with place cards and work with the maintenance team during plug and tool changes
Qualifications:

High School Diploma / GED
-
Must have good communication skills – both verbal and written
-
Available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
-
Must display a strong work ethic and sense of urgency
-
Ability to work in a team-based, feedback friendly, environment
-
Must be able to give and provide direction to others
-
Display high attention to detail, organization, and a process-driven mindset
-
Must be knowledgeable and abide by all company safety policies and procedures
-
Previous work experience in a production, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
-
Ability to work with basic computer programs and systems
-
Ability to be on your feet for 8+ hours a day
-
Must be able to work in a production environment that involves lifting boxes and product up to 40 pounds.
