The Warehouse Operator 1 is responsible for accurate, damage-free selection of cases of product to fill customer orders, meet pick-up schedules, and construct sturdy and balanced pallet loads and bundles of cartons for accurate, damage-free shipping. Properly create pallets Ti-Hi as directed by the system and bundles in accordance with all customer compliance guidelines. Responsible for accurately applying the proper shipping labels on the pallets and bundles, and the required Hazardous Material documentation accordingly. The Warehouse Operator 1 is responsible for performing various duties and related functions as directed by a Warehouse Supervisor. Main Responsibilities: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety rules including safe operation of equipment. Adhere to local, State, and Federal regulations inclusive but not limited to OSHA, DOT, and EEOC. Attend and participate in operational meetings as required. Maintain business confidentiality relative to picking, promotions, distribution methods, inventory, customer lists and financial reports. Ability to read, count, write, and perform simple math calculations Responsible for the careful handling of all products, avoiding damage of any type. Ability to learn technical material to accomplish necessary objectives. Work requires moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity. While performing duties of this job, employee will regularly stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and get on and off equipment repeatedly throughout the shift.
