The Senior Manager, Finance Business Partner - provides business financial analyses and recommendations by working closely with the Group Partnerships & New Business (GP&NB) Digital Expression teams to ensure the execution of business objectives in terms of revenue generation, profitability and overall strategy. This role will ensure sound business analysis of existing product, new product development and investment propositions, driving creation of robust business models, providing transparent reporting of actual and forecasted business performance. This role will also support the monthly closings and financial planning for the full GP&NB teams (including BIC Blade Tech activities).


Main Responsibilities:
AMI Business Partner:
o    Entity Financial Head: Represent and Lead Finance department as part of the AMI management team
o    Actuals: Lead and coordinate monthly reporting of actuals
o    Forecasts: Lead and coordinate monthly forecasts activities for the entity (Full P&L, CAPEX, WC).
o    Cash Management : Monthly Cash forecasts, Long-Term Cash Outlook (Break-Even Analysis)
o    Business Partner: Analyze AMI resource allocation and develop recommendations for optimizing it, lead the construction of business cases and cost estimates on various AMI organizational initiatives, Support business development teams with relevant financial analysis (e.g., category P&Ls, profitability analyses, etc.)
o    Manage: Manage 1 team member based in AMI Facilities 

 

Digital Expression & New Business: 
o    Digital Expression yearly Budget preparation, management & monthly follow-up
o    Lead Digital Expression Business plan activities for current and future projects in partnerships with R&D & Innovation teams, from cost & capex to P&L & ROI calculations.
o    Digital Expression strategic planning: financial follow up to ensure the different Digital Expression initiatives deliver against objectives and are communicated during the monthly business reviews
o    Merger & Acquisitions: support M&A team for business planning & valuation activities related to M&A targets.


Group Partnerships & New Business : 
o    Design and manage the Managerial and Statutory accounts together with the Global Business Service team
o    Performs finance review and business approval of invoices for appropriate posting in accounting records as per Statutory, Tax and Group requirements.
o    Contribute in the implementation of business processes where financial support is relevant 
o    Oversee month end closing entries, reviewing management accounts for accuracy and preparing management commentaries in support of the BU Leader.
o    Coordinate monthly intercompany reconciliation process with other entities within the Group
o    Working with Controlling, Accounting and Tax Teams to resolve management reporting, accounting and tax issues that are specific to the Business Unit
o    Support the implementation of Finance projects (Group and GP&NB) within the BU


Qualifications
    Bachelor’s degree in Finance with advanced degree preferred (MBA).
    Between 6 and 9 years of financial controlling, analysis and business partnering experience.
    Experience in accounting, financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, business analysis, business support.
    Communication skills, ability to collaborate and challenge and sensitivity to interactions and relationships.
    Keen attention to detail but ability to keep the big picture in mind
    Finance systems: knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), JD Edwards ERP, ECM (invoice processing) desirable but not mandatory
    Creativity and out of the box thinking
    Ability to embrace the VUCA world: volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    Ability to travel 25% of the year
    Fluent English & French
