As Senior Manager, Global eCommerce, you will play a central leadership role in driving the company’s global strategy and operational excellence in the eCommerce sales channel including Omnichannel, eB2B and Pureplay, with a focus on Amazon. Winning on eCommerce is critical to deliver our overall growth goals. Reporting to the Director of Global eCommerce and Digital Capabilities, you'll have one direct report a Manager of Global eCommerce Analytics and work through a matrix organization comprised of Senior leaders, General managers, Marketing Directors, Finance, and Supply chain. You will set our long-term eCommerce strategy and targets for each region and will own and deliver strategic initiatives including the global Amazon dashboard, global portfolio optimization, P&L tracking, regional training, and new market launch support. In the role, you will also be responsible for global eCommerce reporting and analytics across all regions and customer channels. You'll own and deliver eCommerce financial data to leadership monthly, and to the Management board on a quarterly basis.

 

What you'll do:

  • Global Strategy Development: Develop & implement a cohesive global eCommerce Sales strategy and specifically a global Amazon Strategy (both 1P & 3P) that aligns with the company’s commercial goals, aligning KPIs with sales, marketing, and operational priorities. Develop a 3-year sales roadmap, set eCommerce targets for regions, and drive accountability across teams.

  • Global Amazon P&L Management (1P & 3P): Develop and track Amazon P&L targets and key strategies for profit improvement across regions. Create and align a global framework for Amazon trading terms to drive consistency and profitability across regions, especially in the newer Amazon markets.

  • Global eCommerce Portfolio Development: Develop and steer a global eCommerce portfolio that aligns to customer and consumer needs while driving profitability for BIC. Collaborate with Category teams, supply chain, and KAMs on efficient management, production, and forecasting of core product assortment and exclusive SKUs.

  • Oversee 1 direct report responsible for Total BIC eCommerce reporting and data analytics including methodology and financial alignment, reporting monthly to leadership and quarterly to the investor relations team. Additionally Launch and build the new Amazon Dashboard together with IT and external vendor partners.

  • Upskill the organization via training modules, playbook expansion and KAM certification. This includes preparing new eCommerce and Amazon market teams in launching, including hands-on onboarding of new key account and country personnel as to how to holistically launch and manage the Amazon account including finance, logistics, assortment, negotiations, portfolio and advertising.

 

Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ experience in eCommerce, retail media, and/or digital shelf management

  • Bachelor’s degree required 

  • 3+ years of Amazon account management. 1P required, 3P preferred. 

  • 5+ years in CPG (Supplier or Retailer) in marketing, sales, or merchandising roles

  • Proficiency in Amazon Advertising and retail media KPIs 

  • Data analytics, PowerBI experience, P&L proficiency 

  • SEO and content strategies for e-commerce

  • Strong quantitative and communication skills are a must

  • Strong team orientation skills

  • Proven ability to influence at all levels of an organization

  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
