As Trade Marketing Manager (DE&AT) Stationery (with focus on E-commerce and B2B) you will elaborate and implement the Stationery marketing and trade marketing strategy of BIC in Germany and Austria for BIC Stationery brands.
In this role you will report to Marketing manager Stationery DACH, no direct reports
Main missions will be following:
Translate European marketing guidelines and DACH Group strategies into actions to drive E-commerce and B2B Stationery business in Germany and Austria.
- Develop and execute Integrated Marketing & Trade marketing plan at e-commerce and B2B customers
- Present the action plans to the local sales team: train, motivate and challenge them to achieve the targeted result, develop their product knowledge
- Support the local E-Commerce sales team with asset management
- Proactively conduct content optimization, coordinate content development and adaptation with EU central team and with local agencies
- Ensure on-time excellent implementation of marketing and trade marketing campaigns and yearly promo plans
- Coordinate consumer support and PR activities, such as PR, Sampling, charity activities
- Conduct regular customer visits to keep close contact with the market and remain aware of market/competitor/customer movements
Analyze market data, panels and sales figures and communicate on local market position, price positioning, competitors, strengths, weaknesses and market opportunities to the European HQ, the local management and the sales team;
• identify local opportunities and come up with recommendations based on analysis of market data and field research;
• Sustain the profitability of the category through P&L analyses.
Manage product portfolio:
- Work with product assortment, pricing and product P&L;
- Prepare new product launches;
- Ensure accurate management of the product life cycles in the Web Item Database;
- Participate in monthly demand and business planning meetings;
- Monitor and coordinate stock and availability of priority SKU’s, promotional SKU's, displays and POS/POP material.
Budgeting: support Marketing Manager in managing the Marketing budget.
What you’ll bring to BIC:
- German: native speaker, English: fluent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in E-commerce and marketing role (trade marketing, category management...)
- Familiarity with digital e-commerce tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO, SEM)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously
- Good analytical skills
- Team player spirit
- Driven for results
- Higher education, university degree
- Experience in CPG/ FMCG industry or E-commerce agency is a valuable plus
