Job Description
The Logistics Operations Coordinator will be responsible for all import/export procedures related to BIC products and / or its components, on time and at the most efficient costs, in compliance with commercial agreements and / or legal technical requirements within inside Guatemalan customs and tax laws.
What You’ll Do:
- To coordinate all import activities: following and executing all stages related to the process, to comply the legislation and meet deadlines inside Guatemala market
- To review Free Zone report declarations before invoicing to customers from GEM LAM
- To review and supervise all Free Zone charges for all BIC products according to the stablished rates
- To collect all outside invoices to manage the transit file and its update for Finance GEM LAM
- To issue all E1 documents such as ORs and ODs for all import/export expenses.
- To deliver on time the expenses files to Accounting area by every monthly closure
- To update all technical requirement document to comply with internal Guatemalan government policies for selling products
- To provide any back up support for the rest of the Logistics team.
Projects You’ll Work On:
- Achieve all export procedures from Guatemala on time, including all legal and technical documents required.
- Achieve on time import’s receipt to avoid backorders and delays on shipments in Guatemala.
- Control on the CIF values registered in Free Zone Guatemala City
- On time registration for all expenses inside the import/export operation in Guatemala.
What We’re Looking For In You:
- Graduate in Business Administration
- Minimum 1 year of experience inside Supply Chain or Administrative
- Skills on Accounting and Tax procedures, Basic Knowledge in foreign trade legislation
- Proficient with Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluently Spanish and basic English
- Proactivity and Teamwork
- Good interpersonal relationships
- Effective communication
- Orientation to Customer service and results
