OVERVIEW

Are you ready to help us invent the future? As a Commercial Manager Turkey you will report to the General Manager Developing Countries.  In this role you will have an opportunity to shape the sales and marketing plans in the region. You would shape the vision and values as well as would be accountable for building and executing the operating plan for your perimeter. You would be responsible for countries’ P&L, aligning policies, strategies, and guidelines.

What you will do:

  • Business Volume: 30M € NS with growing trend
  • Build long term strategic plan to make the Area (or specific parts of it) a candidate for “Invest to Grow” for the Group in the years to come
  • Make “ONE TEAM” from Team Members based in Turkey
  • Use analyses provided by Group Strategy/Business Development (Category analysis, commercial research, strategic insights and functional trends) to identify new local opportunities
  • Own sales forecast (provide sales forecast updates during S&OP process, responsible for forecast accuracy)
  • Actively participate in negotiation with customers annual Commercial Objectives including but not limited to sales targets/distribution objectives/range objectives/marketing objectives.
  • Actively partner with Commercial support functions.
  • Manage the budget, forecasting and financial planning processes for his/her countries, ensuring strategic, accurate plans are put into place maximizing investment and ensuring optimal short and long term financial return.
  • Compliance  
  • Own strategic workforce planning for his/her country, incl. capability and capacity build up, team engagement and inclusion & diversity
  • Develop BIC’s Talent bench.

 

Projects you will work on:

 

  • Also, member of the European Commercial Team you would be participating in all the key projects and Company decisions.

 

Qualification requirements:

  • Educational Background in business management or related field
  • Minimum 3 years in Sales Manager role with strong track record in developing and managing senior managers
  • Background on FMCG Sales with a minimum of 10 years of experience in management roles
  • Experience in developing Route to Market
  • Robust decision-making capabilities
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
  • Experience in working in a matrix structure
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain financial plans
  • Ability to motivate and lead people, and hold employees accountable
  • Strong working knowledge of operational procedures
  • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities
  • Good organizational and presentation skills
