JOB DESCRIPTION 

 

Main Responsibilities / Tasks

 

  • Develop and implement efficient supply chain and production planning strategies.
  • Lead the monthly performance review meetings for the cluster and align on priorities and strategic decisions.
  • Responsible to set and review the business unit stock policy and ensure on time availability for demands.
  • Responsible for long range planning process to assess and propose production capacity and capex requirements.
  • Oversee and manage inventory levels to meet production and customer demands.
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to optimize the flow of goods.
  • Analyze market trends and production capacity to anticipate material needs.
  • Work closely with the manufacturing team to implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to supply chain operations.
  • Ensure correctness of purchase forecasts for added value imported products and align with factory planners on availability and possible supply constraints.
  • Place firm intercompany orders for local warehouse replenishment and follow up with factory planners until order is shipped.
  • Ensure best possible container optimization on inbound orders, to keep Freight-In costs as low as possible.
  • Responsible for local inventory levels; balance between intended service level and optimal inventory holdings.
  • Keep track on Overstock and Slow-Moving items. Work with Sales and Marketing teams to propose actions to deplete them.
  • Work closely with Marketing teams to ensure on-time availability of new products.
  • Manage capacity utilization files and makes production budgets in line with the demand
  • Lead the monthly supply review meetings to set the base for the monthly planning activity and alignment with internal stakeholders on the deliverables, attainment and adherence to plan.
  • Lead the weekly production planning process and align the Constrained production plan with the necessary stakeholders.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain and production planning roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and forecasting tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

 

 

Key Performance Indicators

 

  • Days of Cover per product / product family and all product levels.
  • Inventory value Vs Net sales
  • Inventory in units Vs net sales
  • Overstock value Vs Net sales and Gross inventory
  • Purchase forecast accuracy > 95% at lag 4.
  • Production Attainment > 98%
  • Production Adherence > 98%
  • OTIF( On time in full)  >95%
  • Net Cut kept at min < 0.5% of Net sales and previous years.

 

Qualifications

 

  • University degree completed in relevant field.
  • Minimum experience of 6 years.

  • Possess leadership skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Process Oriented. Ability to continuously improve a supply chain and manage complex customer needs.

  • Solution-driven with the willingness and ability to implement innovative ideas and improve working methodologies. Able to break down complex issues into simple components and build/implement required action plans.
  • Hands-on in line with BIC culture, can handle various tasks with humility and business drive.
  • Advanced level required on Excel Office
  • Any ERP knowledge (JDE preferably).
