As a Supply Planner, you will be an integral part of our operations team, focused on optimizing inventory levels and ensuring the efficient flow of products through our supply chain. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute supply plans that meet production requirements while minimizing costs and maximizing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of supply chain principles.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS

Administrative Support

    • Provide ad hoc administrative support to the sales team such as preparing sales documents, claims, proposals and contracts.
    • Coordinating new line launch information
    • Loading Promotional programs into customer portals
    • Preparing and sending samples to customers
    • Assist the Account Manager in preparation for major customer meetings and events

Inventory Management:

    • Monitor inventory levels and analyze demand patterns to determine optimal stock levels.
    • Develop inventory targets and replenishment strategies to ensure product availability while minimizing carrying costs.
    • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to optimize inventory replenishment and distribution processes.
    • Identify excess inventory and SLOBs and communicate to relevant stakeholders to implement action plans.
    • Prepare Stock status report providing root cause and action plans to resolve emerging availability issues.

Production Planning Support:

    • Collaborate with production planners to ensure alignment between production schedules and inventory targets.
    • Provide input on material availability and production capacity to support efficient production planning.
    • Anticipate and address potential supply chain disruptions to minimize impact on production schedules.

Supplier Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
    • Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement initiatives as needed.
    • Manage import documentation and liaise with overseas suppliers, customs agents and freight forwarders where required.

Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process and tools optimization and efficiency improvements within the supply chain.
    • Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to streamline supply chain processes.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (DIFOT) and metrics to measure supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, procurement, logistics, and operations, to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on supply chain priorities and initiatives.
    • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to support overall business goals.

 

Requirements

Essential

    • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
    • Proven experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or related roles.
    • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
    • Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
