Job Description

 

The Internal Control Manager is accountable of Ensuring that preventive and detective controls are in place, accountable of:

  • Establish core internal controls such as Order to cash, Order to pay, Trade Spend and Allowances for Commercial. 
  • Establishing Internal controls such as inventories control, entrances of product, Order to Pay, logistics, supplier management, bank and cash management in Manufacturing plans and Distribution Center.
  • Responsible of coordinating external audits managed every year for both Manufacturing and Commercial cluster Mexec. Communication and main contact with External auditors in order to meet all requested information in timely manner. 

 

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Guarantee zero deficiencies in External Audit and in Internal Audit by setting the minimum core controls to track during the year.            
  • Deeply understand manufacturing dinamics, imports, exports, suppliers, operation complexity, taxes, order to pay, inventory management in order to propose preventive and detective controls.    
  • Deeply understand of commercial business, customers, suppliers, sales team, trade spend in order to propose preventive and detective controls and its periodicity.
  • Influence and capacity of providing context in an easy way to explain necessity of internal controls. Being flexible and understand risk management.
  • Work together with legal department to warrantee operation is correct and cero compliance deficiencies.    
  • Constant risk assessment to define clear action plans.    

 

 

Projects You’ll Work On:

 

  • Plan and design Preventive and active controls for Manufacturing, DC and Commercial Business. 

  • Define periodicity of all the controls to put in place to ensure operation is correct.

  • Ensure defined internal controls are enough to support External audit with cero deficiencies and positive feedback.

  • Work in alignment with Global Internal Control to respect Global policy but ensure local operation is correct. 

  • Influence and provide context to many partners such as Manufacturing, Procurement, GSC, Commercial, rest of back-office team.

  • Find correct balance in proposals that meet both: internal control and flexibility. Able to define what risk can be taken.

  • Solid soft skills to negotiate with different areas and warrantee deliverables on time. Set meetings and kick-offs to plan correctly and set priorities.

  • Important stakeholders to work together such as Global Internal Control, Legal, Accounting and Taxes.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Financial Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Administration or related discipline, Master would be a plus.

  • At least 5-7 years of experience in Internal Control, External Audit in a BIG 4
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing plans desirable.  

  • Office  100%
  • Power BI            
  • ERP knowledge such as E1, S2M
