Job Description
The Procurement PO Check and Helpdesk is responsible for supports the End to end Purchase requisition to PR/PO/GR process conversion.
Main Responsibilities:
- Review POS to check if they are created correctly and follows up any issues related to PO creation
- Process purchase requisitions: review purchase requests to ensure compliance with purchasing policies and rules
- Provide advice and helps solve technical problems related to POs, according to the service descriptions and procedures, respecting quality and timing
- Use all required procurement tools when required or mandated by process
- Respond to questions from end users and/or suppliers based upon Q&A list
- Delivery of service is a mixture of quick and efficient service with people mindset. Counterparts need to feel helped and understood.
- Ensure service is delivered within Global and local laws and regulations and within applicable BIC policies
- Identify and report incidents, determine nature, impact and true extent of the incident, take required action and follow-up
- Develop and maintains knowledge of customer and customer specific business environment. Develops and maintains an understanding of customer Service Level Agreements
- Perform incident notification and escalation to ensure problems/request/issues are communicated effectively and receiving proper management attention
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience in customer service area +2 years
- Technological system management
- Effective Communication (Internal & External)
- Problem-solving and analytical skills – able to construct/execute advanced analyses.
- Comfortable with conflict – willingness to challenge “conventional” thinking
- Experience in Operational Procurement or as a JR buyer, purchasing assistant.
- Knowledge of PR/PO/GR flow
- Spanish & English communication, both written and spoke
- English (must)/ Other: local language according to the scop
