Job Description

 

As a Key Account Manager for the Modern Channel, you'll be responsible to develop key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets. The Key Account Manager plays a strategic role in building creative sales strategies that are focused on consumer satisfaction and revenue generation for the business.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Strategy: The Key Account Manager plays a strategic role in building creative sales strategies that are focused on consumer satisfaction and revenue generation for the business.
  • Analytics: The Key Account Manager also plays an analytical role in conducting research and performing analyses on the performance of the sales department ensuring prompt delivery and accuracy of daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports to senior management
  • Relationship: - Develop and maintain strong relationships with the client that generate higher revenues for the company.
  • Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate with trade marketing, marketing, finance and logistics departments to ensure key customer needs are met. Develop a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements and prepare customized solutions.
  • Other Duties: Maintain healthy customer portfolio. Monetize the client's catalog.

 

Projects You’ll Work On:

 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key personnel at Modern customers to achieve objectives.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales budget and achieve distribution, pricing strategy, promotion and visibility objectives to increase market share within key product segments.
  • Design strategic plans aligned to the organization and the customer to sustainably increase our net sales indicators, as well as customer sell out.
  • Forecast accuracy.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, or any other related filed. An equivalent of this requirement in working experience is also acceptable.
  • A candidate for this position must have had working experience of at least 3-6 years in a sales position within a complex and fast-paced business environment.
  • Proven successful track record in sales, with an understanding of the strategic approach to long term objectives, and the strength of commercial returns from a partnering approach
  • Results driven, possessing a proven track record of delivering against targets
  • Strong business development and organization skills
  • A solution focused approach to team and stakeholder problems, who can lead by example.
  • Strong communication skills both internally and externally, with the ability to influence and debate at senior levels, in order to get the right result.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and get the best out of a team, proven with experience.
  • Previous experience of leading a large multi-skilled team, with the ability to coach, guide and be a knowledge base in commercial, marketing and communication.
  • Extensive experience in commercial roles with relevant industry knowledge.
  • Intermediate English level - desirable
  • Availability to work in Monterrey
