The Role:

Managing Tax Audit, Transfer Pricing audit and compliance, Income tax assessment and appeal, Filing of annual return and other compliances, Monthly Closing and reporting. The position has 2 direct reports and reports into the Finance Controller > CFO. 

 

Responsibilities:

1. Tax audit

  • Preparation of 3CD report and get them audited
  • Annexure working for 3CD report - specially TDS, statutory dues, comsumption and quantitative recon
  • Woking of 43B schedule

 

2. Transfer pricing audit

  • Preparation of Form 3CEB along with annexure
  • Compilation of Associate enterprise (related party) transaction
  • Benchmark analysis for pricing /profitability

 

3. Assessment proceedings and appeal

  • Preparation of submission to AO in relation to assessment notices
  • TP assessment preparation
  • Attending the assessment proceedings before AO and TPO
  • Coordination with tax consultant for various submission for querries raised by department from time to time
  • Attending the AO office in connection to any summon/notice
  • Preparation and submission of Appeal before CIT(A) and ITAT as and when required
  • Attend the hearing before CIT(A) and ITAT

 

4. Reporting and MIS

  • Calculation of income tax liability for provision
  • Calculation of deferred tax assets and liabilities
  • Year-wise tracker of advance tax and provision against it
  • Maintain assessment tracker
  • Follow-up for refund as applicable
  • Maintenance of records as per the requirement of Act/Rules and department

 

5. Other compliances and reporting

  • Computation of Income and filing of annual return
  • Advance tax working
  • Filing of 3CD and 3CEB online
  • Ensure the compliance of monthly/quarterly and yearly requirement of income tax act/rules
  • Expat taxes calculation and booking
  • Being 1st point contact for tax consultants

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3-5 years of relevant experience
