Tattly is a small Brooklyn based business selling temporary tattoos created by professional artists and illustrators.

 

Tattly’s Customer Service & Sales Associate ensures stellar customer engagement, and efficient order processing for our wholesale customers while driving performance with our external sales partners. They are the friendly and helpful face of the Tattly brand. They know, love, and believe in the Tattly product and convey that enthusiasm to our partners in the market which in turn helps drive sales. Their key functions include efficient and detail-oriented order administration, effective and proactive selling (as needed), project management across multiple sales-related functions, and strong, authentic customer and rep communication. 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage all inbound orders and data entry, focused particularly on our independent customers.
  • Enhance sales through relationship-building and effective communication with independent customers and external sales reps.
  • Maintain accurate customer, order, and inventory records in our systems including Netsuite and Help Scout.
  • Foster strong relationships with external sales reps, proactively address concerns, and collaborate with the Lead Sales Manager for resolutions. Responsibilities include sales rep check-ins, delivering sales rep reports, and building sales rep kits
  • Play a key role in NY trade shows, from setup and selling to teardown, with the potential for additional trade show travel (Atlanta, Vegas, etc).  Set-up includes ordering materials and signage, planning samples, and materials transportation ensuring on-time delivery. Ability to travel around 10% of your work schedule is required for trade shows.
  • Support Accounts Receivable with consistent follow-up for payment on outstanding invoices, updating billing profiles in Netsuite, and processing electronic payments
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and offer creative solutions and improvements as we evolve our day-to-day operations and develop sales initiatives
  • Be a team player! Support other teams during crunch times or as needed.

 

 

 What We’re Looking for In You:

 

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree or equivalent related experience is required
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales support roles or relatable customer experience type roles
  • Experience in sales support in a wholesaler (B2B) environment is preferred
  • Strong Excel skills are a must (including pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
  • Experience working in Help Scout or Netsuite is a plus
  • Experience processing orders is preferred, with exceptional attention to detail and a diligent approach to tasks.
  • Stellar communication skills, both spoken and written, in a cheerful and knowledgeable manner.
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively handle significant administrative workload while managing time effectively and meeting set deadlines.
