Tattly is a Brooklyn-based business selling temporary tattoos created by professional artists and illustrators. We are looking to find a driven, joyful and insightful Lead Sales Manager to join our team!

 

The Tattly Key Account Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue generation - as well as strong engagement and communication - with our existing and future wholesale customers and external sales partners. They are responsible for achieving assigned sales objectives; fostering high level customer contacts and authentic relationships to build consumer and customer satisfaction with Tattly products and our company overall.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales budgets, margins and contribution targets; achieving distribution, pricing, promotion and shelving objectives by customer
  • Support development of a long-term customer roadmap that aligns with and supports Tattly’s overarching business objectives and strategy
  • Maintain and expand relationships and revenue with US & Canadian Specialty, Mass and (through leadership) Independent accounts
  • Identify, pitch to and develop new accounts and develop business plans that take into account long-term goals, strategies and results for all customers
  • Partner with Tattly leadership to develop, assess, track and report on progress monthly against financial plans/goals and ensure company-wide compliance to maximize profits
  • Ensure customer needs and expectations are met by Tattly. Proactively assess, validate and internally share customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Effectively lead and motivate one sales manager who will be focused on Independent accounts
  • Support necessary inventory forecasts through well conceived account projections
  • Manage execution of inbound orders and related data entry for your accounts
  • Ensure follow through, attention to detail and timeliness. Ensure  accurate entry around all customer, order, and inventory details in Netsuite and our other systems
  • Build strong relationships with our external sales reps, anticipate needs and communicate with them effectively
  • Bring related concerns proactively and help with resolutions
  • Work Tattly’s trade shows and lead on-brand execution of trade show positioning
  • Partner with and support creative/marketing to effectively plan and execute B2B promotions
  • Provide input to support Tattly’s general marketing efforts
  • Maintain awareness of competitor products, pricing and distribution
  • Know the market and share knowledge. Watch for and report on trends.

 

Qualifications

 

  • You have history working in a similar role and have 5+ years of previous gift or lifestyle industry experience
  • You have Key and Mass account sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • You know how to read and interpret a related routing guide
  • You take company profit goals seriously and understand how you and your team impact them
  • You have stellar communication skills, both spoken and written
  • You possess a cheerful and knowledgeable voice with strong attention to detail
  • You have PC proficiency
  • You are fluent in MS Excel/Office and equivalent G Suite docs as well as an aptitude for learning new enterprise software systems
  • You are comfortable in Powerpoint
  • You love working in Excel
