As Quality Engineer you will control & assure the quality of finished products, through the different process steps (Including Molding, & Assembly, Packaging & Storage), focusing on consumer & customer satisfaction, continuous improvement & operational optimizationYou will also be responsible for the following activities:

 

  • Responsible for safety, quality health and environmental protection, in accordance to Saltillo´s Plant Integral Policy.
  • Stablishes and communicates the necessary strategies and KPI´s to comply with the business objectives and customer satisfaction. Implements systems that promote continuous improvement and a strong culture towards Quality.
  • Designs, develops & implements robust quality processes and systems to assure compliance with quality standards, regulations & customer requirements,
  • Utilizes statistical analysis and data- driven methods to monitor and evaluate process performance, identifying trends, and proactively addresses potential quality concerns.
  • Leading the Quality Inspectors team, providing technical & personal support.
  • Demonstrate technical abilities to assure Quality throughout the processes & personal abilities to manage people, as well as internal and external customers.
  • Coordinate with the Plant Team, actions plans to reduce or eliminate non-conformities that can lead to risk the product quality.
  • Take timely decisions regarding non-conforming product, materials, shipments, urgent materials.
  • Coordinate efforts between areas, to inspect products, or in case re work is needed.
  • Determines, implements & maintains Quality Controls on the different processes, to continuously improve its performance, developing Quality Control Plans.
  • Leads problem -solving initiatives and drives successful outcomes in a fast – paced, dynamic environment.
  • Leads & supports new product, machine, & process validation activities, including developing protocols, conducting / leading testing, analyzing results & implementing improvements.
  • Conducts thorough risk assessments to identify potential quality risks and develops risk mitigation strategies.   

 

Qualification required:

  • Engineering Degree (Chemical or similar).
  • Expertise as a Quality Process Engineer or in a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • English Advanced/Fluent
  • Excellent problem- solving skills and ability to apply structured approaches to root cause analysis and solution development.
  • Desirable: High proven expertise in plastic injection processes.
  • Desirable: Proficiency in statistical analysis software (Minitab)
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Familiarity with Quality standards & processes. (ISO 9001)
  • Continuous learning mindset.
