 ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES


•    Lead all industrialization activities for OEM sourced products, by coordinating efficient production processes and workflows both with Bic teams & OEM suppliers
•    Provide necessary technical support to facilitate quality problem solving in mass production, including the process parameters analysis, equipment, and tools capability analysis etc, that have impact on the delivery of consistent quality. 
•    Lead all the industrialization activities for PCR (Product Change Request) for the current pipeline of launched OEM products.
•    Conduct a monthly review of the status of tools and equipment (machines, molds, parts). The purpose is to ensure that OEM suppliers can deliver the committed capacity in full and on time.
•    Propose an annual budget for tools and equipment investment for OEMs. With the purpose of maintaining & or, increasing the production capacity & minimizing any risk to production volumes.
•    Take the lead in sustainability and BSO cross function projects ie, sustainability packaging initiatives and optimize packing solutions for transportation purposes.
•    Provide necessary technical support in drawing reviews for new product development (reviewing and optimizing the design and process aspects).
•    Identify, collect & analyze industrial innovation information and trends ie: innovative technologies, new equipment, new processes, new materials to support efficient improvement in production costs & ensure ongoing product quality & safety standards are meet. 
•    Continuous improvement focusses on enhancing the efficiency of BSO Project Management including & not limited to tools, meetings, reporting & tracking to guarantee high quality deliverables.
•    Work closely with OEM suppliers, the Quality & Safety Team, to evaluate OEM suppliers’ Quality Assurance Management System. 
•    Support suppliers from their initial evaluation through to the subsequent on-boarding with the focus on ensuring Bic Quality & Safety Standards are meet as per the Manufacturing Supply Agreement (MSA) & maintained.
•    Co-ordinate all Bic & Customer Audits on OEM related to Quality & Safety

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, COMPETENCIEs

•    A bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering field required. This provides a solid foundation for technical knowledge.
•    Fluency in English is essential for effective communication with global teams and stakeholders.
•    At least 3 years' experience in the industrialization area with a good history. This experience should demonstrate the ability to manage industrialization related tasks and challenges.
•    Good knowledge of CAD and other tools used in drawing reading. This skill is crucial for reviewing and understanding product designs and technical drawings.
